Warm Pumpkin Smoothie

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1/2 cup sliced peaches I use frozen peaches
  • 2 cups almond milk
  • 3 large Medjool dates, pitted
  • 3 tbsp hemp hearts/seeds
  • 3 tbsp pumpkin seeds
  • 2 tsp flax meal
  • 1/4 tsp ground ginger
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/8 tsp ground cardamom
  • 1/8 tsp ground cloves
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla

Instructions

  • Measure the pumpkin puree, peaches, almond milk and pitted dates into a microwaveable bowl. Microwave on high for 2 minutes.
  • Pour the remaining ingredients into the blender. Pour over the heated liquid ingredients and cover with the blender lid, venting the center insert to allow heat to escape. Gradually turn the power up to high, and blend until smooth.
  • Pour into 2 glasses or mugs and serve.
