Moroccan Spiced Grilled Chicken
Juicy grilled chicken with Middle Eastern spices and the tang of preserved lemons.

- 2 tablespoons diced preserved lemon peel
- 2 tablespoons lemon brine from preserved lemons
- ¼ cup lemon juice
- ¼ cup olive oil
- 3 green onions chopped
- ¼ cup chopped parsley
- ½ teaspoon coriander
- ½ teaspoon turmeric
- 1- teaspoon sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon pepper
- 2 teaspoons Sambal Oelek
- 1 whole chicken cut into serving sized pieces
Combine all ingredients except chicken and blend well. Pour over the chicken pieces and marinate, refrigerated for at least 4 hours, or up to overnight.
Remove chicken from marinade and grill over medium hot gas or charcoal fire until cooked through and juices run clear.
